None. Garage Guy does not collect any information about you or your device. The app does not use analytics, advertising identifiers, crash reporting services, or any third-party SDKs that transmit data off your device.
Everything you enter into the app — vehicle details, maintenance records, mileage readings, expenses, reminders, and any photos or PDF documents you attach — is stored locally in the app's own database on your device, using Apple's on-device SwiftData framework. This information never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it, for example by:
In each of these cases, you are the one initiating the transfer through Apple's standard sharing interface — the app itself does not send this data anywhere on its own.
Garage Guy requests access to your camera and photo library only so you can attach photos of your vehicle, receipts, and documents to your records. Photos you choose to add are stored locally with the rest of your vehicle data and are never uploaded anywhere.
The app uses Apple's local notification system to remind you about expirations you've set up (such as insurance or inspection). These reminders are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device — no notification data is sent to any server.
We do not share, sell, or rent any data, because we do not collect any. There are no third parties involved in the operation of this app.
Your data stays on your device for as long as the app is installed. Deleting the app removes all of its local data. You can also delete individual vehicles, records, or documents at any time from within the app.
Garage Guy is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
A future version of this app may offer an optional iCloud sync feature so your data can follow you across your own devices. If introduced, that feature will use Apple's private CloudKit database — meaning your data would sync only between your own devices via your personal iCloud account, and still would not be accessible to us. This policy will be updated before any such feature ships.
